Storm Damage Cleanup
Get your access back quickly after storms bring down trees and block tracks. We process fallen timber and debris on site — no burning, no hauling, no waiting for a chainsaw crew to clear the way first.
How the Machine Handles Storm Debris
The Fecon mulcher head on our Kubota SVL95-2 can process fallen limbs, branches and small to medium trees directly in place. Rather than cutting up material and piling it for burning — which then needs a separate burn permit and a weather window — we run the mulcher over debris and reduce it to chip on the spot. The result is a clean, accessible site in a single pass.
For very large storm-fallen trees (large eucalyptus, plantation timber), a chainsaw crew may need to break the material down first before the mulcher can process the debris. In those cases, we can coordinate with trusted local arborists to handle the job as a combined operation — or advise you on the most efficient approach for your situation.
After storms in the Otways and Surf Coast, response times can be tight during peak demand. Calling early — even before you're sure you need us — means we can confirm availability and get you onto the schedule. For urgent access situations (blocked driveway, cut-off water supply, isolated buildings), let us know and we'll do our best to prioritise.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you respond to storm damage?
We prioritise storm damage jobs, especially where access is blocked or there's an immediate safety risk. Timelines depend on demand after major events — calling directly is the fastest way to get a response. We cover the Surf Coast, Otways and Geelong regions.
What size fallen trees can you handle?
Our forestry mulcher processes medium to large fallen trees efficiently. For very large root balls or significant structural timber, some chainsaw work may be needed first to make the material manageable for the machine.
Will you work with my insurance company?
Yes. We provide detailed invoices, before and after photos, and written records of the work completed. We're happy to provide whatever documentation your insurer needs to support a claim.
Do you clear debris from access tracks and driveways?
Yes. Restoring safe vehicle access is often the first priority after storm damage. We clear fallen material, process it through the mulcher, and leave the area clean.
