A bit of weather talk to start with, because it’s been an interesting run.
Up until the storm late last week and over the weekend, we’d had a pretty calm spring for this time of year. Normally by now we’re well into the strong spring winds that can bring branches and the odd tree down across people’s properties, and they’d been noticeably quiet.
The weekend certainly made up for the quiet run, though. Hopefully your property came through the wind and rain okay, without too much damage. If you have ended up with trees or limbs down, or a general mess to clean up once things dry out, get in touch and we can talk about what help may be suitable.
A good window to get a quote
One upside of a wet week is that it’s freed up a few days for me to get out and quote jobs. I’ve got a bit of availability right now, though that won’t last long. As we head toward Christmas, things fill up fast. Spring and early summer are always our busiest stretch of the year, and the closer we get to the warmer weather, the harder it becomes to fit everyone in.
If there’s a job you’ve been thinking about — whether it’s vegetation work for property preparation, getting on top of gorse or blackberry, or opening up an overgrown area — now is a good time to get your enquiry in. Getting in early gives us a chance to look at the work and plan around the right timing and ground conditions, rather than trying to squeeze it in at the last minute.
Map your property to get started
There’s an easy way to get the ball rolling. On our website, the Map Your Property page lets you find your block and draw the area you’re thinking about having mulched. It only takes a minute and gives me a clearer picture of the job’s size and scope before I arrive.
It doesn’t replace an in-person look. Pricing depends on what we find on the ground, including vegetation density, slope, access and the finish you’re after. But the map is a helpful first step.
Send through an enquiry, map your property, or give me a call and we’ll have a chat about what you’re trying to achieve.
We work with you to open up your land, the right way.
